Ultraman Custom-Designed Manhole Covers 「ウルトラマン」デザインマンホール

Ultraman is a much-beloved hero to Setagaya City residents, as Tsuburaya Productions, the studio responsible for the Ultraman series, was founded in Setagaya City and many entries in the series were filmed there.

In 2005, three shopping areas surrounding the train station closest to Tsuburaya Productions, Soshigaya-Okura Station on the Odawara Line, joined together to form the Ultraman Shopping District. Various characters from the series adorn the area, most notably the Ultraman statue in front of the train station.
