In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.
SHIBUYA STREAM, a large-scale, multi-purpose facility, opened in September 2018 as part of efforts to develop the underground connecting tracks of the Tokyu Toyoko Line and Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Lines and to redevelop the unused platform of Shibuya Station's Kyu-Toyoko Line and the area around the remnants of the tracks.
The restoration of Shibuya River after the birth of SHIBUYA STREAM and the cooperation of the public and private sector, as well as the maintenance of the promenade connecting the square and the Daikanyama area, has successfully transformed itself into an area that appeals to "creative workers".
Within the facilities is a commercial zone where you can find approximately 30 shops, offices, hotels, and event halls. Come to enjoy dining and all the area has to offer, and unwind while taking in the scenery at SHIBUYA STREAM.
