Don't miss the famous tuna auction at one of the world's largest seafood markets.
The Toyosu Fish Market opened on October 11, 2018. The general public can visit the observation corridors here, as well as the restaurants and shops. Visitors can watch the tuna auctions from the observation corridors in the Fisheries Wholesale Market Building. And on the tuna auction observation deck (reservations required in advance), visitors can feel closer to all the action. There are 38 restaurants inside the market — 22 on the third floor of the Fisheries Intermediate Wholesale Market Building, 13 on the third floor of the Management Facilities Building, and three on the first floor of the Fruits and Vegetables Building. Plus, the Fisheries Intermediate Wholesale Market Building also includes the Uogashi Yokocho area, with approximately 70 shops offering ingredients such as fruits and vegetables, dried foods, and seasonings, as well as other food-related products such as knives. There is even a grassy rooftop garden square where visitors can appreciate views of Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower.
