teamLab Borderless: Mori Building Digital Art Museum is a world of artworks without boundaries, a museum without a map created by art collective teamLab. More than 75 works of art, including several never-before-seen works, are on display in Azabudai Hills.
True to its name, the 3D digital art here is borderless, flowing seamlessly from one exhibition room to the next. teamLab Borderless' highly interactive artworks flow together to create one continuous world that welcomes you to dive right in. Wander, explore, create, and discover new worlds together.
"teamLab Borderless" and "teamLab Planets" are both immersive art museums, but with different characteristics. They were both created by teamLab, an art collective consisting of a group of artists from many different disciplines. The museums feature vast, interactive spaces that visitors can walk through, looking at the installations that surround them. The exhibits in these installations use technology to display large works of art.
teamLab Borderless reopened in February, 2024, after moving from Odaiba to Azabudai Hills. This massive space is designed to have no boundaries between the exhibits, and visitors can freely explore with their shoes on. The works of art here connect with each other and flow between rooms, utilizing lights, mirrors, and more. Visitors can walk through the fantastic space, experiencing the art and immersing themselves within it.

teamLab Planets in Toyosu offers visitors the chance to physically immerse themselves in the interactive art. Similarly to teamLab Borderless, it contains immersive artwork and light installations. However, since it also features exhibits where visitors wade through water, shoes must be removed. Unlike teamLab Borderless, the exhibition spaces are clearly delineated, and visitors follow a set route through the facility. There is a room with a mirrored floor and a ceiling covered in flowers.
If you have enough time to visit both facilities, you can enjoy the wonderful experiences on offer at each one.
