Hinojuku Honjin 日野宿本陣

Go back in time with a visit to Hinojuku Honjin, once a luxury ryokan inn for government officials or other prominent individuals during the Edo Period. A relay station along the Koshu Kaido highway, this inn saw guests like commanders Isami Kondo, Toshizo Hijikata, Genzaburo Inoue, Soji Okita and Keisuke Yamanami.
