Ota City Folk Museum is a humanities museum in central Ota City that preserves and displays materials in the fields of archaeology, history and folklore. It offers an information search system called the “Ota History Search Guide” along with four permanent exhibitions—“History Inscribed on the Land,” “Farming and Fishing Village Scenery“, “Magome Writers’ Village” and ”Modernization and the City”—to encourage broader and more in-depth understanding of Ota City history.
