Showakinen Park Winter Vista Illumination

Showa Kinen Park stages an illumination display based on a different theme each year. The main theme for 2017 was Four Seasons of Showa Kinen Park, and "conforming mind." The event featured a tree built from 15,000 shimmering champagne glasses.

  • Nishi-Tachikawa Station | 2 min on foot to the Nishi-Tachikawa Gate

  • Tachikawa-Kita or Tachikawa-Minami Station | 13 min on foot to the Tachikawa Gate
    Tama Monorail

    Note: During nighttime illumination hours (17:00-21:00), visitors may only enter the park through the Tachikawa Gate.

  • 9:30-17:00 (hours vary by season)
  • Open all year round, except on park holidays

    Closed December 31, 2018, January 1, 2019 and February 25-26, 2019.
