Ogasawara-Hakushaku-Tei 小笠原伯爵邸

10-10 Kawadacho, Shinjuku City, Tokyo

A little piece of Spain hidden in the heart of Tokyo

This Spanish colonial-style building feels worlds away from the nearby neon lights of Shinjuku. Built in 1927, Ogasawara Hakushaku Tei was once the residence of Count Nagayoshi Ogasawara, a member of one of Japan's most influential samurai families. Today the residence houses a Spanish restaurant.

The entire building can be rented for weddings and private parties. The café can be used casually (without reservation). The interior of the building can only be viewed by restaurant or café customers. (Not available if the entire property has been booked for private use.)
