Laforet Harajuku was opened in 1978. This famous fashion building in Tokyo contains cafes and approximately 140 shops, including those handling women’s clothing, menswear, accessories, shoes, handbags, and CDs. Since its opening, Laforet Harajuku has always been the source of cutting edge fashion and culture, and it became a Harajuku landmark by setting the tone for the era. There is also a multi-purpose hall on the 6th floor, where culture with a close connection to fashion is shared.
