In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.
A fun day out awaits you at Amusement Park Toshimaen, with over 30 rides and plenty of fringe activities. It is minutes away on foot from Toshimaen Station, which is within half an hour from Roppongi and Shinjuku on the Toei Oedo Line, and just 15 minutes from Ikebukuro on the Seibu Toshima Line.
With its relatively benign rides, Toshimaen is especially popular among families with young children, though adults can also have a good time with more thrilling rides like the Corkscrew. Seasonal activities are also popular, including cherry blossom viewing in spring. In summer, cool off at a water park equipped with wave pools and water slides. In winter, go ice-skating at the outdoor rink.
The park is also home to an insect museum and an indoor fishing facility, while nearby, there is an onsen spa and a large Japanese garden landscaped by renowned architect Kenzo Ogata.
General admission: 1000 yen
