A delightful collection of picture books and art

This charming gallery is located in what was once the home of Chihiro Iwasaki, a famous Japanese artist and children's book illustrator. In addition to displaying rotating exhibits of her trademark watercolor works, the Chihiro Art Museum of Tokyo also features art created by picture-book illustrators from around the world.

Besides the exhibits you will also find a recreation of her atelier, a library with over 3,000 colorful children's books, and a picture book-inspired cafe.
