A delightful collection of picture books and art
This charming gallery is located in what was once the home of Chihiro Iwasaki, a famous Japanese artist and children's book illustrator. In addition to displaying rotating exhibits of her trademark watercolor works, the Chihiro Art Museum of Tokyo also features art created by picture-book illustrators from around the world.
Besides the exhibits you will also find a recreation of Chihiro's atelier, a library with over 2,000 colorful children's books from Japan and around the world, and a picture book store and cafe.
