In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.
Enjoy soaking in a warm, open-air hot spring bath as you watch the sun set over the ocean. Situated in a convenient location on the west coast of Niijima Island, this onsen makes an excellent place to warm up and recharge.
Setting this onsen apart are the sand baths, where you are buried in hot volcanic sand brought from Habushiura Beach on the east coast of Niijima Island. The hot, white sand helps your body cleanse itself of toxins, leaving you refreshed to continue your trip.
For updated information on opening hours, closings, prices, and more, please check the official website or ask the facility directly.
