In Suginami Ward, you will find eight custom-designed manhole covers featuring the ward's official mascot character "Namisuke" and a local event or a facility. Five of them were installed in 2019, and the other three on May 12, 2021. The three adorable new covers feature Namisuke and Nami, Namisuke's baby sister, visiting the Suginami Animation Museum and Otaguro Koen Park.
