Tokyo's art space dedicated to fostering the work of young artists

Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo is an art center devoted to the advancement of new art and culture. It nurtures young artists and is part of a global network of cultural centers both in Japan and abroad. It focuses on supporting and educating young artists through programs and special exhibits.

Special exhibits that you can visit are held throughout the year, including “Emerging,” which shows the work of artists just entering the art scene, and “The Exhibition of Artists in Residence,” which showcases the work of participants in the residency program. “Open Site” is open to all artists and all genres of art, and was created with the purpose of bringing creatives together under a unique platform.
