Roka Koshun-en Gardens 蘆花恒春園

The Roka Koshun-en Gardens is an urban oasis with bamboo thickets and numerous trees including cherry and gingko trees. The gardens are also home to the Former Residence to Roka Tokutomi.

Designated a cultural heritage site, the Former House of Tokutomi Roka is located in the Roka Koshun-en Gardens. Tokutomi is the renowned late 19th century author of "The Cuckoo," "Nature and Life" and "Ramblings of an Earthworm."
