Akiru Jinja Shrine 阿伎留神社

1081 Itsukaichi, Akiruno City, Tokyo

This shrine dates back over 1,000 years. For three days at September 28th, 29th and 30th every year, an annual festival is held, where locals carry a large hexagonal portable shrine around five towns in the parish and engage in a lively lion dance performance.
