Edo Furin (Wind Bell) Making Workshop Shinohara Furin

4-22-5 Minami Shinozakimachi, Edogawa City, Tokyo

Craft a beautiful Japanese wind chime

Edo furin wind chimes have been crafted in Japan since the Edo period. At Shinohara Furin, you can try your hand at creating or designing your very own.

There are two workshops to choose from: in the more comprehensive of the two, you try glass blowing and create your own original furin before painting it; in the other, shorter session, you paint your own design onto a pre-blown chime.
