New landmark opens in Shinjuku

NEWoMan—a new commercial facility is slated to open on March 25, 2016, at JR Shinjuku Station New South Exit. Some 100 retailers will offer fashion, accessories, and cosmetics on six floors of JR Shinjuku Miraina Tower, one floor of the JR Shinjuku Station New South Exit station building, and three floors including the rooftop of the elevated structure above the railway tracks. Highlights include confectioners opening for the first time in Japan, and KOKOLUMINE presenting items planned and developed with artisans of traditional crafts from across Japan. The Food Hall, in the Ekinaka Zone, is open from seven in the morning to four the following morning for the convenience of diners at all hours.
