With his position at the Itochu Corporation, Yuki Yamaguchi is in a line of work currently very popular with the ladies. Just strolling down a Roppongi street after work, he sometimes gets impromptu invitations to go for drinks, which has made him an expert on good date spots. When not busy with work or amorous pursuits, Yuki likes to kick back at a cafe with a good book.

I feel that a good date spot needs to have good atmosphere. So I'll start by recommending Daikanyama—a charming area where you can enjoy shopping or just walking around. Hip cafes are perfect places to take a break and engage in some animated conversation.

  1. With a casual modern environment that's both chic and comfortable, HyLife Pork Table is a great place to relax and chat up your date
  2. If you're looking for a more active night out, visit the Meiji Jingu Gaien Golf Practice Range, where you can enjoy a bit of golf right in the middle of the big city
  3. I'd recommend the Aoyama area for dinner—in particular, the slightly hard to find Aoyama Ebisudo
  4. My dates always rave about the freshly cooked tempura, served item by item, at Hakata Tempura Takao in Minami Aoyama
