Showcasing the design process that precedes the finished article

JAPAN DESIGN COMMITTEE is made up of voluntary representatives of various fields including designers, architects and critics. The various sketches, drawings and models that are part of the creative process of its members rarely get much attention, as compared with their finished work. And yet, it can be argued that the true essence of design exists especially in those hidden parts of the process. This important and stimulating exhibition places the design process front and center. Over the course of the exhibition, related talks and other events are being held to convey information in a way that transcends the usual exhibition framework.
