The "Winter Festa of Japanese Illuminations" will be held at various spots around Higashi-ginza Station, including Kabukiza Theatre, Ginza Shochiku Square, and Togeki Building. The event will feature Japanese lantern illuminations inspired by the traditional "lantern floating" once held on the Tsukiji River, and Japanese umbrella illuminations resembling the umbrellas used in Kabuki performances. Additionally, there will be a "Japanese-style DJ event" for one day only, and a "Yoasobi Map" listing restaurants and spots open at night will be distributed. This event invites people of all ages, from Japan and abroad, to enjoy the nightlife in Higashi Ginza.
Note: This event is sponsored by the Tokyo Nightlife Tourism Grant, a program run jointly by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention and Visitors Bureau.
