Waseda Sakura Project WASEDA さくらプロジェクト

1-14 Nishi-Waseda, Shinjuku City, Tokyo
2019-3-23 - 2019-4-7

A two-kilometer avenue of trees along the Kandagawa River is one of Tokyo's top viewing spots for cherry blossoms. The reflection of the flowers in the water creates a wonderful atmosphere at night. The illuminated area has been designed as a promenade, so you can stroll under cherry blossom arches. The utterly captivating blossoms, and their fallen petals floating in the river, make for an amazing sight. Discover a magical spectacle and enjoy the very different atmosphere of cherry blossoms by moonlight.

Note: This event is sponsored in part by the Spring Illuminations Model Business Grant, a program run jointly by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention and Visitors Bureau.
