Blue and adorned with stars—Tokyo Tower becomes the brightest light in the galaxy

The event runs until September 2nd, 2018.

The "Milky Way Illumination" event returns this summer, transforming Tokyo Tower into a bright, ocean of stars representing the galaxy flowing across a summer night. The main deck on the first floor glitters and glows while telling the story of Japanese Romeo and Juliet—Hikoboshi and Orihime. The windows glint with stardust adding to the otherworldly atmosphere.

The staircase leading up to the main deck is covered in blue stars, making it an enchanting place for both families and couples. A visit to these summer illuminations will take you far, far away.
