Illuminated areas include Solami Zaka, a popular spot to take pictures of Tokyo Skytree; and the Sky Arena, a nearby shopping mall. There will also be an 8-meter-tall Christmas tree and a Christmas market with food and drinks.
Plus, Tokyo Skytree itself will be lit up to look like a giant green and gold Christmas tree (referred to as "the Champagnetree"), and a giant candle ("the Candletree"), to bring a little Christmas magic and color to the city.
