Every autumn, chrysanthemum displays are held across Japan. If you’d like to visit one, this is a fantastic choice. Held since 1915, the Tokyo Metropolitan Tourism Chrysanthemum Exhibition has a long-lasting tradition, which is why it attracts people from Tokyo and beyond.
The show features various kinds of chrysanthemums─ogiku, edogiku, domed and more. Additionally, you’ll see bonsai (miniature trees), including those arranged in the cascading kengai style, as well as daruma and fukusuke flowers. If you’re interested in growing chrysanthemums, the event will also have lectures on cultivation.
