At Yomiuriland’s “Jewellumination,” one of the largest light displays in the Kanto region, visitors can enjoy a one-of-a-kind jewel-toned light display alongside expansive views of Tokyo’s incredible nightscape. Motoko Ishii, a world-famous lighting designer, has returned to produce this year's event. Installed in commemoration of Yomiuriland’s 60th anniversary, the new Ferris wheel “Sky-Go-LAND” projects beautifully shifting colors like a parade of sparkling gemstone hues. And for a limited time until January 13, 2025 (Mon. and a national holiday), the large Ferris wheel beloved since the park’s opening in 1980 will also be lit up at the same time. Guests can enjoy Japan’s only “twin Ferris wheels” spinning side by side. Make precious memories here in this space that sparkles like diamonds.
