Held at Komazawa Olympic Park in in late October to early November the Tokyo Ramen Show is one of Japan's largest outdoor events dedicated to ramen noodles. The event has been running annually since 2009 as a way to promote tourism and food education through ramen. Every region of Japan has its own distinct ramen, some are long established and others, particularly recently, use local ingredients to revitalize the community. Tokyo Ramen Show makes efforts to boost tourism in these regions, along with their unique variation of ramen.
