Azabu-Juban has a lively, artsy, old-fashioned feel, but it is also a bustling international area dotted with modern skyscrapers.
For more than 40 years now, the Azabu-Juban Shopping Arcade, the pillar of this energetic neighborhood, has hosted the Azabu-Juban Noryo Festival. "Noryo" means "cool of the evening," and noryo festivals are a Japanese summer tradition.
Mainly taking place on Patio-dori Street and Zoshiki-dori Street, the festival was revamped in 2012 to give it an even more local feel. Since then, festival booths have all been manned by local vendors, so visitors can sample the best of what Azabu-Juban has to offer. Pay a visit to get a feel of a lively local neighborhood festival.
Please check the official event website for the latest updates on opening dates and times, prices, and other information.
