49th Edogawa-ku Fireworks Festival 第49回 江戸川区花火大会

Banks of the Edogawa River, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo
2024-8-24

Note: The 2024 installment of this event has already taken place.

14,000 fireworks are launched during the Edogawa City Fireworks Festival. 2024’s event will be comprised of seven programs, each with particular highlights. The event features a signature opening act, where a thousand fireworks explode in five seconds; a spectacular vision of Mt. Fuji—the largest of its kind in Japan; climaxing with a surge of fireworks known as the Golden Weeping Willow. In particular, must-see sights this year include programs 4 “Red x Gold: Endless Battle” and 6 “Colorful Rainbow.” Dynamic and speedy red and gold fireworks and a number of beautiful rainbow-colored fireworks that are precisely controlled by computer are worthy of attention this year.
