The annual Kokubunji Festival is a celebration of local residents, commerce and agriculture. It is Kokubunji's biggest event, featuring a parade, stage performances and much more. Additionally, the festival will also showcase traditional arts and entertainment from Sado, Kokubunji's sister community in Niigata Prefecture. You can enjoy local Sado products, spirited taiko drumming routines and folk song performances. Residents also sell homemade treats, giving you the perfect opportunity to get a taste of Kokubunji.
