The Adachi Fireworks Festival is one of the largest-scale firework displays in Tokyo and a comparatively early one, taking place in May. It's known for its concentrated intensity: some 13,000 fireworks are launched over the course of a single hour. The nonstop force of the fireworks may make you forget to blink. The climax is the "Double Niagara," two lines of waterfall-like fireworks spreading 250 meters across. The display will also feature laser beams.
