47th Adachi Fireworks Festival 第47回足立の花火

Senjuokawacho, Adachi City, Tokyo

2025-5-31

Your current location:

Northern Tokyo

Kita-Senju

This is one of the largest-scale firework displays in Tokyo. Unlike past years, the 2025 event will be held in May. The show is notable for its overwhelming density: around 14,000 fireworks will be launched within a single hour. The show incorporates a "Niagara" set piece, lasers, and more. This year marks 400 years since the founding of the Senjujuku post town, and to celebrate, 1,010 (pronounced "Senju" in Japanese) fireworks will be launched, in addition to the regular total of 13,000. This means that a total of 14,010 fireworks will be launched this year. There will also be a commemorative ground fireworks display to enjoy.
