38th Koto Fireworks Festival 第38回 江東花火大会

8-22 Higashisuna, Koto City, Tokyo

At the Koto Fireworks Festival, a series of star-mine fireworks are launched from floating barges on the Arakawa River, only 150 meters away from the main viewing place: Arakawa Sunamachi Riverside Park. Because the launch site is so close, spectators can truly feel the impact of the fireworks, and the reflections on the river add a fantastical dimension to the experience. The cool summer breeze makes this an event that the whole family can comfortably enjoy together, while experiencing the unique charm that this historic area of Tokyo has to offer.
