The Marunouchi Illumination, now in its 23rd year, will see 286 trees in the Marunouchi area lit up from Marunouchi Naka-dori, the main street, to the Tokyo Kotsu Kaikan building in front of Yurakucho Station with around 820,000 champagne gold LEDs between Thursday, November 14th, 2024 and Sunday, February 16th, 2025. This year, the illuminations will be also cover part of “Gyoko-dori Street” connecting Tokyo Station to the Outer Gardens of the Imperial Palace for four weeks from Thursday, November 28th to Wednesday, December 25th, during which the winter scenery unique to Marunouchi, Tokyo, can be enjoyed.
The Marunouchi Street Park 2024 Winter, featuring a skating rink, authentic Christmas market, and special hot food served from kitchen cars will also be held from Thursday, November 14th to Wednesday, December 25th. Moreover, as part of ongoing environmental efforts, recyclable energy generated through natural energy power generation is used for the Marunouchi Illuminations.
