In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.
Setagaya Municipal Park is where Tokyo locals go to enjoy sports and recreation. Athletes and families alike flock to the park to enjoy its diverse attractions, which include baseball fields, tennis courts, a skate park, a children's playground, and a swimming pool open during summers.
In addition to the ample sports and recreational facilities, the park also boasts a barbecue area for enjoying yakiniku and other grilled foods, a miniature train that carries children on a loop through the grounds, and a large fountain and promenade in the center.
Seasonal events and festivals are also regularly held in the park, such as the Ecological Network Festival. It truly serves its function as a gathering place for the community at large.
For updated information on opening hours, closings, prices, and more, please check the official website or ask the facility directly.
