In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.
Buildings may dominate Tokyo, but if you know where to look there is a wealth of nature available within the city. Koiwa Shobuen is a garden running along the banks of the Edogawa River that is home to over 50,000 iris flowers from a hundred different species. The garden bursts into a sea of pink and purple when the irises are in bloom from May to June. Make sure to bring your camera; this is not a sight you want to miss.
The area surrounding the garden has walking paths, and baseball and softball courts busy with activity throughout the year.
For updated information on opening hours, closings, prices, and more, please check the official website or ask the facility directly.
