Elegant, ambitious shopping mall where past and present collide

Comprised of skyscrapers and shopping zones, Coredo Muromachi is an ambitious complex that includes a state-of-art cinema, tea ceremony center and event hall, late-night restaurants, and stores—some of them dating back centuries—showcasing the finest traditional crafts and gourmet foods from all over Japan.
It's the latter that sets Coredo Muromachi apart from its competitors. Aimed at celebrating the Nihonbashi area, and acknowledging the historical role it played as a bustling center of business and trade, shop here to find knives, ceramics and gourmet soy sauce, tea and confectionery.
For a small fee, you can take an English-run tasting tour of the mall's gourmet shops; visit the Nihonbashi Information Desk in the basement of Coredo Muromachi 1.
