In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.
Senzokuike Park is a lush hideaway, just a short walk from Senzokuike Station. As you wander through the park's foliage-shaded footpaths you’ll find a small shrine, library, playground, and arguably its most famous feature, an expansive pond, home to koi fish, and boats available to rent. Choose the pedal-style, swan, or classic rowboat to admire the park from a different perspective.
Once your boat ride is up, head to the nearby hill, which is a perfect place to relax, soak up the sun, and admire the park views. It's especially stunning in spring when the area's few hundred cherry trees come into full bloom.
For updated information on opening hours, closings, prices, and more, please check the official website or ask the facility directly.
