In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.

A new sports facility offering eight different types of activities will open on Saturday, August 11th. You can even try your hand at surfing on artificial waves in the heart of the city—a first in Asia, Located close to both Shinagawa and Oimachi stations, this recreational facility offers fun for the whole family.

Pro tennis player Kimiko Date was involved in the creation of the indoor tennis court. If tennis is not your thing, clamber up the bouldering wall in the nearby building. Get involved in one of the regular events held in each of the facilities' sports halls.

The facility also houses a number of themed attractions. You can get active in a facility-escape activity, or join characters from popular anime Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion in Kids Land—a sports hall in Sporu Shinagawa Oimachi facility aimed towards the younger generation, but equally fun for adults.
