The “Tachikawa Festival, Showa Kinen Park Fireworks festival” was first held in 1954, and will be held for the 59th time this year. Approximately 5,000 fireworks will be launched, and there will be plenty of high-impact fireworks including 1.5 Syakudama (45 centimeters) fireworks that explode into flowers of fire about 400 meters in diameter, and gorgeous wide star mines. Furthermore, visitors will be able to enjoy a fireworks competition that can only be seen at this fireworks display, and this will include artistic fireworks and innovatively designed fireworks that have had outstanding results in national fireworks competitions. Visitors can have a luxurious time watching the fireworks in a relaxed manner on a spacious field inside a park.
