You don't need to be an astronaut to see what space looks like. At Shibuya's Cosmo Planetarium, 120 visitors can board a space flight in front of a 17-meter domed screen during one show time. On one hand, the optical projection system reproduces the beautiful starry sky, while the digital system uses high-resolution computer graphics to takes viewers around space.
All 120 seats are reclinable, but among them, 84 are fixated, where the remaining 36 can be rotated by 90 degrees for different viewing angles. Don't forget to check out the lobby exhibition outside of the dome: it's got some precious astronomical information and pictures.
