At the “Katsushika Noryo Fireworks Festival,” the launching site is close to the spectator seats, so visitors can enjoy fireworks with plenty of impact. This year, the 51st year of the event, there will be amazing things to see, including a grand opening at the start featuring a flowing “Niagara Falls” to raise the curtain on a new era, a “Tourism Ambassador Katsushika PR Stage” hosted by Katsushika’s Tourism Ambassador, “digital star mine” evolutionary-type fireworks that have taken first place in worldwide fireworks competitions, and a stage where Japanese-style fireworks are used to express nostalgia for the Showa era as represented by Tora-san in the Otoko wa Tsurai yo film series. In the grand finale, a brilliant rainbow-colored bridge will be created in the night sky to welcome the next 50 years.
