A great location, directly connected to Otemachi station.

A restful space that engages the five senses

While located in the middle of the city, the Palace Hotel Tokyo is also next to Tokyo’s stately Imperial Palace and surrounded by greenery. The gentle scent of essential aroma oils greets you when you walk into the hotel, where everything from the feel of the sheets to the elegantly arranged meals conveys the sense of a high quality restful space that can be appreciated by all five senses.

Spacious guest rooms of at least 45㎡

There are a total of 290 guest rooms in the hotel

The hotel has three types of guest rooms: Deluxe (45 square meters), Grand Deluxe (55 square meters), and Suite (from 75 square meters to 210 square meters), with either double or twin beds. For an additional charge of 10,000yen per room per night, exclusive of service charges and taxes, guests can upgrade to a Club Room, which includes access to the Club Lounge on the hotel’s 19th floor where breakfast and afternoon tea are served. There is also a dedicated Club Room check-in and check-out counter, in-hotel spa, and other facilities, so guests can design their hotel experience to suit their individual needs. All guest rooms in the hotel have views of the greenery nearby, and some rooms also provide night views of the city that can be enjoyed from within the glass-walled bathrooms. Additionally, in every guest room is a tea set made of fine Mashiko-yaki pottery made in Japan’s Tochigi Prefecture and hand-selected by Terry McGinnity, the Australian architect who worked on the hotel’s interior design.

Elegant meals in an open dining area

Palace Hotel Tokyo boasts a number of elegant restaurants and bars. On the ground floor of the hotel is Grand Kitchen, a spacious 162-seat restaurant with a particularly popular glass-walled sunroom. Morning buffet breakfast features a colorful array of dishes as well as freshly baked bread. In the breakfast buffet’s egg station, guests can watch as chefs carefully prepare omelets, poached eggs, and other made-to-order egg dishes. At afternoon tea in The Palace Lounge, scones, sandwiches, sweets and seasonal fruit are served from traditional Japanese-style jyubako three-tiered serving boxes. In addition, the French restaurant Crown, founded in 1964 and a much-loved dining spot at the original Palace Hotel that used to occupy the site, continues to serve guests in the new Palace Hotel as well.

Alpine-inspired evian SPA TOKYO

The view is also outstanding from the 5th floor spa

The in-hotel spa, evian SPA TOKYO, is the first in Japan to offer the same premium services found at France’s Evian Resort on the shores of beautiful Lac Leman. In addition to spa treatments, the spa also has a fitness center that can be used 24 hours a day and indoor pool. Spa treatments use delicately fragrant products from leading French beauty care brand Anne Semonin (amentities from Anne Semonin are also available in every guest room). With their abundance of natural ingredients, these treatments soothe both body and soul. Whether for the strain of a long trip or post-work fatigue, the spa therapies here are a recommended way to refresh.

About 1,000 works of art adorn the hotel’s walls. The hotel’s art collection features mainly Japanese artists, but the hotel also displays work from artists around the world.
