Hotel Yanagibashi

A comfy hotel with a home-style atmosphere

A hotel with around 30 years of history in the Asakusabashi wholesaler’s district

Despite being located on a major street, the hotel offers a quiet and laid-back atmosphere. The friendly urban neighbourhood features plenty of local food and drink establishments, as well as a range of wholesale businesses.

A nostalgic hotel in Yanagibashi, near the Sumida River

A friendly urban neighbourhood by the Kanda River

Asakusabashi, where Hotel Yanagibashi is located, has been well-known for many years as a wholesaler’s district. Clothing, accessories and other items can be obtained cheaply in the area, and there are also several famous Japanese doll stores. Traditional Japanese pleasure barges called Yakatabune are moored at the nearby Kanda River, and offer a glimpse into the friendly atmosphere and entertainments of urban downtown Tokyo. The hotel can arrange for Yakatabune at a cost of 10,000 yen and up per person. The hotel is approximately a two minute walk from Asakusabashi Station on the JR and Metropolitan Subway lines. Akihabara, a popular location for tourists, is also located nearby.
With convenient access to transportation, many foreign visitors stay at Hotel Yanagibashi, using it as a base for sightseeing excursions not only in Tokyo, but throughout Japan.
