Park Hotel Tokyo

The 10 floor atrium houses a bright and sophisticated lounge space

A designer hotel offering quality hospitality and a close-up experience with Japanese artistry

Park Hotel Tokyo welcomes artists from Japan and overseas. The hotel incorporates Japanese culture and aesthetics at every turn, offering a uniquely one-of-a-kind experience.

From architecture to interior, every facet of the hotel is dedicated to art and hospitality

Guest room

A double room with red accents

Each and every aspect of the hotel is meticulously designed, down to the colors of individual rooms, with guest rooms laid out according to style and theme. The art hung in each room are original hand-made pieces created by a French artist. The rooms all feature large windows with a view of the Tokyo Metropolis high-rises, and the tower-side rooms offer a close-up panoramic view of Tokyo Tower. The furniture, meanwhile, is from high-end Italian furniture store B&B Italia. Spaces are both simple and modern. The in-room toiletries are from Thann, a spa brand with a location in Park Hotel Tokyo, and include everything necessary for a full range of natural skin and hair care. Finally, guests should not miss out on the pillow fitting services. A pillow fitting specialist will help you specially select your most comfortable pillow from an array of materials and size, including from the hotel’s own original pillows.

The world’s only artist rooms

The highlight of Park Hotel Tokyo, and not to be missed, is it artist rooms, created via the hotel’s Artist-in-Hotel program. Artists are invited to stay in traditional rooms, and given free reign to use the space as studio and canvas. Artists paint directly onto wall paper, alter lighting, introduce objects, and so on, using their inspiration to transform the room into a new type of space. The rooms, which let those staying come into close contact with Japanese art and sensibility, are especially popular among overseas guests. Currently the hotel only features a few such rooms, but over the next several years it plans to reform an entire floor as artist rooms.

Hanasanshou, on the 25th floor, features a modern Japanese interior

Guests of Park Hotel Tokyo can also experience the culinary arts of Japan and abroad, with restaurants such as Hanasanshou, which offers Japanese cuisine (Japanese cuisine is registered as one of UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritages), and Tateru Yoshino Bis, a French restaurant. These restaurants pride themselves on the quality of their ingredients and on entertaining guests with dishes that make the very most of this quality. Guests can also relax in the spacious atrium lounge, Art Café or stylish hotel bars.

The hotel’s art shop, featuring original items and rare works of craftsmanship

The hotel offers a modern space for incurable art lovers. Close attention is paid at every turn to the hotel’s art and design, from the lobby, where art on display is changed out seasonally, to the beautifully laid-out guest rooms. The hotel’s unique ambience offers something different from galleries and museums. Works from the artists can also be bought in the hotel shop. Guests of Park Hotel Tokyo will enjoy the timeless sense of Japanese aesthetics.
