Displaying 72 masterpieces from the Yoshino Gypsum Collection

The Yoshino Gypsum collection is one of the leading art collections in Japan, owning pieces by artists such as Renoir, Monet, Picasso and Chagall. Not only is the quality of its collection high, but many of its pieces are highly approachable. Among them, pastels by Renoir, Degas and Cassatt offer the viewer insight into the characteristics of each of these impressionist artists’ techniques. This exhibition is a chance to see the very best of the pieces collected by the Yoshino Gypsum Company. 72 pieces are on display, including work by Monet, Pizarro and Chagall spanning from their early years to the end of their careers. Visitors can also see Sisley’s colorful landscapes of the 1880s, Picasso’s landscapes, and other carefully selected pieces that can only be viewed here.
