The latest historical research uncovers “The Real Three Kingdoms”

At the end of the 2nd century, when China’s Han dynasty was in decline, powerful warlords from across the land took center stage. Thus the three kingdoms of Wei, Shu and Wu divided the land between them, and rode the turbulent waves of history towards a new era. Recent years have seen unprecedented levels of research into Records of the Three Kingdoms. As actual contemporary objects, the artifacts uncovered have an impact that surpasses any history book or story. Under the theme of “The Real Three Kingdoms”, this exhibition unravels the late Han and Three Kingdoms periods of China through cultural properties examined in the light of the latest research.
