In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), various facilities around Tokyo may change their operating days or hours. In addition, some events may be canceled or postponed. Please check official facility or event websites for the latest updates and information.
Note: This event will not take place in 2020.
Kamanofuchi Park is known for having some of the most beautiful cherry blossoms in the Nishitama district. It is easily accessible, as it is located only about 15 minutes on foot from JR Ome Station.
Along the Tama River, a 250-meter row of cherry trees will be lit up—as will the Ayumi Bridge, which is known as a landmark of Kamanofuchi Park. Together, the illuminated cherry blossoms and bridge make for a totally unique nightscape.
Note: This event is sponsored in part by the Spring Illuminations Model Business Grant, a program run jointly by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Please check the official event website for the latest updates on opening dates and times, prices, and other information.
