Toshimaen Amusement Park is a famous spot in Tokyo for hanami (cherry blossom viewing). It takes pride in its numerous cherry blossom trees of different varieties, from the iconic Somei-yoshino to yaezakura (late-blooming cherry blossoms with more than five petals).
You can have a one-of-a-kind hanami experience by appreciating the blossoms from the vantage point of various park attractions. These include the Eagle, which rises 35 meters above ground, and the Mini Cyclone, a rollercoaster popular with younger children. At night, the cherry trees are illuminated, adding an extra element to the fun.
Reserve a party plan in advance to claim your spot in the park's banquet area. With friends and family, you can sit at a kotatsu, a low Japanese-style heated table, underneath the blossoming trees. You can also order food in advance, which makes party planning a breeze!
