Takowan Bay 多幸湾

Takowan, Kozushima Village, Tokyo

Located to the east of Kozushima Island, Takowan Bay offers Tako spring water—chosen as one of the 57 most famous spring waters in Tokyo—and is an emblematic spot highlighting the wealth of water on and around Kozushima Island. The area around Marushima Island has calm waves, making it an especially great swimming spot for visitors bringing small children along to enjoy. Climb up to the viewing platform for great views of Takowan Bay and Mt. Tenjo. Look down to find a chain of fishing boats bobbing in the bay.
