Toga Shrine 富賀神社

Ako, Miyakejima, Miyake-mura, Tokyo

Enshrined here at the patron shrine of the Izu islands are Kotoshironushi (Mishima-Daimyoujin), Ikona-hime (Empress) and Ametsuwake (Prince). Kotoshironushi is credited with introducing fishing and agriculture to the Izu area. Look out for the inner sanctuary and the hall of worship, which were repaired in 2007.
